Koehler
Katy Koehler joined Envision in May of 2009 after consulting for a former firm on several LEED projects. Her role is to guide project teams through the LEED certification process in order to obtain the end result of the client’s target certification level. The best part about her job is making the client happy and satisfied with the outcome of the project, and saving them energy and money while also helping the environment.
Notable recent projects include a LEED EB O&M Platinum certification for a high rise in downtown Sacramento, and several LEED EB O&M Gold certifications for high rise buildings in San Francisco, Seattle, San Jose, Portland, West Palm Beach, and Boise.
Past projects included a LEED ND Certified 35 unit high density infill residential
project in West Sacramento, a LEED Retail Silver certification for a combo restaurant retail project
in Sacramento
and about 100 LEED Homes projects in the Bay Area.
Ms Koehler’s educational background is in marine biology. She brings to the Envision office a passion for animals, plants, and nature. Her interest in conservation was what led her to the world of green building in the first place. She is happy to be working in this office full of fun people and great clients.
