Mr. Barry joined Envision Realty Services in November, 2008
as a staff mechanical engineer to support our LEED Consultants
and the Building Engineers of our client firms. Mr. Barry
has devoted most of his career to assisting building owners
and operators to reduce energy
consumption, improve system reliability, and minimize interruptions
in services.
Before joining Envision Realty Services, Mr. Barry worked
for HVAC contractors in implementing design/build concepts
for fast-track building completion. Ed then worked for many
years for the Trane Company, providing support to owners
and operators of Trane Applied Refrigeration
equipment and systems. Ed has a unique perspective on how
all the various components of a building mechanical system
- chillers, boilers, air handling units, ventilation equipment,
and controls - can be optimized to enhance comfort while
lowering operating costs.
Mr. Barry, who goes by Ed, enables us to provide in-house
resources for technical areas that other firms are required
to out-source.
